At home on every peak – the Mammut Monolith GTX

Mammut's jubilee 150 Peaks collection includes a revised version of the Monolith GTX – the boot that's just the thing for tours involving ice and snow. This cramponcompatible, lightweight mountain and trekking boot offers a high level of comfort and now incorporates exclusive new features from GORE-TEX and vibram. And with its asymmetrical Peaks colorway, it fits perfectly with other items in the collection.

Fashioned from abrasion-resistant velour leather and Dropstop textile, the Mammut Monolith GTX provides a high degree of flexibility, while the patented Motion Control heel cap ensures strong lateral support and stability on challenging terrain. The patented Mammut Base Fit technology uses free-sliding bands to transfer the force of the lacing to the sole. Here, the asymmetric lacing adapts to the anatomy of the foot and boosts the pressure on the big toe for precision footwork.

The elasticized GORE-TEX tongue design is new to the world of outdoor sports. It makes putting the Monolith GTX on really easy, and pressure caused by folds in the tongue are now a thing of the past. Jointly developed by Mammut and vibram, the second new feature is the Maton sole with its specially arranged studs for precise footing. The sole also features a climbing zone in the toe area for enhanced stability on smooth terrain. The Monolith GTX is available in both a men's as well as a women's version.
