I am the Director and Head Guide at San Juan Mountain Guides in Ouray, Colorado. I specialize in guiding individuals and small private groups on technical ice, rock, and alpine routes around the world. My main areas of experience are the American and Canadian Rockies, Alaska Range, Chamonix, Zermatt, Grindelwald, the Dolomites, and the American Southwest. While alpine and ice are my specialties, I also spend many days guiding difficult rock routes as well in challenging areas.
