We use only European premium down in 3 filling strengths. Only the best down from the belly and breast are used and carefully refined so that they generate the perfect loft, provide optimal heat storage and tolerate extreme stress.

Fillpower

The higher the cuin rating, the better the filling performance and insulation properties at the same weight. Mammut measures fill power using the official method of the International Down and Feather Bureau (IDFB) in which the down is steam-conditioned and measured in a Lorch cylinder.
