Durability

The service life of a product cannot be calculated precisely in advance as it depends on many factors such as frequency of use, handling, weather influences, etc. As a basic principle, the product must be replaced immediately following:

extreme mechanical stress

if the stitching or webbing is damaged

if it is heavily and irreversibly soiled  (e.g. with grease, bitumen, oil, etc.)

if it is exposed to high thermal stress, contact or friction heat,resulting in visible signs of fusing

following contact with aggressive chemicals

if the metal and/or synthetic material parts are corroded

once abrasion becomes apparent

Even under optimum storage conditions and infrequent use you should replace the product after a maximum of 7 years. Should you have the slightest doubt about the safety of the Slackline Set, replace it immediately.
Caution: never let the webbing straps in the Set come into contact with sharp edges, as this will have a pronounced effect on their service life.
