Mammut Eigerjoch Glove: warm yet also tactile
With the Eigerjoch Glove, Mammut is presenting a glove for situations that could otherwise really turn uncomfortable. The special Gore-Tex technology ensures that the warm three-fingered glove remains tactile despite this feature.
Snow and ice are constant companions on tours through wintry mountains. Whereas in summer a delicacy of feeling of the rock is required, winter conditions often demand handling your gear in ice cold wind and burrowing through snow. This is the kind of use the Eigerjoch Glove is designed for. With its highly abrasion-resistant nylon outer material and waterproof, robust Pittard leather, this glove will withstand the harshest of punishment. The top side of the glove is lined with a warm insulation layer. The additional Primaloft One insulation ensures that the Eigerjoch Glove protects against the cold even if it gets wet.
The division into three sections combines the climatic advantages of mittens with the diverse applicability of a glove. With the new Gore-Tex X-trafit technology, the membrane and lining are no longer separate layers but form a unit. In addition, non-slip adhesive paddings are attached to the finger tips between the membrane and outer material. This prevents slippage of the outer layer and makes the waterproof glove extremely tactile.
