Avalanche transceivers tested by Swiss consumer protection:

In a large field trial, the consumer protection program “Kassensturz” in Swiss TV has tested all relevant manufacturers of avalanche beacons for their practicality in snow. The beacon test was performed in collaboration with the Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research (SLF) in Davos. The Mammut ELEMENT Barryvox impressed by its speed, reliability and ease of use and was "significantly superior":
