The boot for the extreme

This boot cannot be stopped by anything. With or without crampons, the robust carbon insole carries the wearer safely over every terrain. The Nordwand TL is equally well suited for alpine tours in the winter as for ice and mixed climbing or traditional multi-pitch tours. Robust, warm and astonishingly light, it constitutes the perfect footwear for the Mammut Eiger Extreme line.

Its massive appearance is deceptive since the Mammut Nordwand TL only weighs 1888 grams. More important, however, are the arguments that speak for the alpine boot. The Easy Entry system with two large straps allows you to put the boots on very quickly and easily, even when wearing thick gloves over your fingers. You do not even have to take off the boots to lace them, for the Speed Lace system allows the laces to be tightened and secured over the entire length of the boot with just a single pull. Of course, the Mammut Nordwand TL can also be tied the conventional way. Once inside the boot, the Base Fit technology ensures that the foot is perfectly surrounded by the material. Free-running laces transfer the force from the lacing area directly to the sole. From the bottom, the foot is protected and stabilised by the patent-pending carbon insole. Despite its light weight, this boot is extremely rigid and thus allows crampons to be attached. The outer part of the Mammut Nordwand TL boot is sealed by means of a completely waterproof high-quality YKK zip. Your feet are thus optimally protected against snow, ice and cold and you are ready to start the tour.
