Mammut Code of Labour Practices
As Member of the Fair Wear Foundation, we commit to only trade in products that have been manufactured under dignified working conditions.
The FWF „Code of Labour Practices“ is the basis of this committment. The Code of Labour Practices is based on the conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. In the Code, references are made to specific conventions. Where clarifications of ILO Conventions are required, FWF follows ILO Recommendations and existing jurisprudence.
What does Mammut do?
For more than 10 years, Mammut has been actively involved in occupational safety and labour legislation. All manufacturers involved in the production of Mammut items sign the FWF Code of Labour Practices and thus commit to the progressive implementation of the requirements.
On its own, a standard is not enough – credible checks are also required. MAMMUT therefore has an internal management system and systematically monitors the implementation of the Code to ensure continuous improvement. More information can be found under Fair Wear Foundation.
