In the area of social responsibility and sustainability, Mammut is placing the focus clearly on its own core business. However, this does not rule out other optional social commitments. The main aim is to pass on the company’s outdoor know-how and mountain experience. Mammut is therefore supporting mountain guide training in Kyrgyzstan and Peru in partnership with the International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations (IFMGA).

Peru Project
Mammut is a partner of the IFMGA and the “Cooperación Alpinista Suiza – Perú”. In addition to outdoor equipment, this action is opening up new horizons for Peruvian mountain guides.

Kyrgyzstan project
Since 2007, Mammut has been assisting the local mountain guide association, the KMGA, and supporting the introduction of mountain guide training according to the IFMGA’s international standard.

European Outdoor Conservation Association
As a member of the EOCA, Mammut is supporting numerous projects which are helping to protect the environment and maintain nature all over the world.
