Quality test

To ensure the quality and performance of its hard shell products, Mammut conducts two different tests.

Test 1
Garments designed for moderate applications are tested in a room in which different rain conditions can be simulated under real conditions.

Test 2
Fabric that needs to withstand tougher conditions is tested in a chamber, with special jet nozzles used to test the garment's water resistance under different weather conditions - from light drizzle to a complete downpour.
