150 years of Mammut

Be part of the biggest peak project in history!

The countdown has begun
In 2012, Mammut will be celebrating its 150th anniversary. Join in the celebrations over the coming months and experience some incomparable anniversary events with Mammut, including the biggest test event of all times. There are plenty of reasons to celebrate. The traditional ropeworks in Dintikon, founded by Kaspar Tanner in 1862, has grown to become an international company producing innovative products for all alpine and outdoor sports enthusiasts, setting new safety standards in mountaineering and climbing.

Mammut's commitment
Top-quality products are particularly important in the mountains. However, as well as safe equipment other values have similar significance. Including reliable rope teams, team spirit and solidarity. This solidarity is particularly important to Mammut in the run-up to a major anniversary. Mammut is therefore extending its existing commitment with the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA) into a partnership. To allow mountain guides from emerging nations such as Kyrgyzstan and Peru to receive sound training from the IFMGA and modern equipment.

Mammut is celebrating its anniversary with the biggest peak project in history: 150 teams will be scaling 150 mountains around the world. As a Mammut fan, we're sure you will want to be part of it all! Create your own virtual mountain in the Mammut mountains and apply to take part or support your friends' mountains.

Become a team leader and receive high-quality Mammut anniversary equipment for you and each member of your team!
