Loosen hip belt, shoulder straps and position control straps.
| A | Shoulder backpack, place hip belt halfway up pelvis and tighten. |
| B | Tighten shoulder straps gradually until shoulders are lightly loaded. |
| C | Tighten position control straps according to terrain. The more challenging the terrain, the tighter they should be. |
| D | Close the sternum strap. |
